While it seems like everyone is hiring an AI Agent Developer, our data says the role has not fully formed yet. Andela analyzed 47,101 Fortune 500 software job postings and found new engineering roles taking shape before the market has words for them.
By tracking where skills bleed across the boundaries of established jobs, we uncovered that 53% of postings titled “AI Engineer” or “ML Engineer” list skills that belong elsewhere.
