2U, an EdTech company offering online programs for universities, faced challenges when the world turned to remote work amidst COVID-19. It needed to maintain performance, discover effective remote practices, and boost productivity but lacked the internal processes to do so. 

Andela stepped in, providing 2U with two engineering managers who spearheaded the adoption of remote best practices and sparked a remote cultural shift at 2U. 

With Andela's support, 2U overhauled its documentation processes, introduced new communication standards, and implemented effective remote collaboration methods. As a result, 2U now operates at higher productivity levels than it did with in-office practices.
